We want to make WrestleRank a great place for pro wrestling fans to express their opinions. If you choose to participate in the ranking system, you should know the following:

• To comply with laws such as COPPA, you must be over the age of 13 to make an account.
• Please do not abuse the voting system. If found to be abusing the system, your account may be locked and/or deleted.
• When you create an account using your email, please note that, currently, there isn't an option to recover your password if forgotten (although we plan to add this feature in the future).
• If you choose to sign up with 'Continue with Google', your account will be linked to your Google account. This means you'll only be able to log in by using the Google social button.
• We may update these Terms of Service from time to time, and your continued use of WrestleRank constitutes acceptance of any changes.

1. Information We Collect

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") requires that online service providers obtain parental consent before they knowingly collect personally identifiable information online from children who are under 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a child under 13, please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that a child under 13 may have provided us personal information, please contact us.

1.1 Personal Information

Currently, there are two ways you can sign up to vote on WrestleRank: through the email form or your Google account. When you sign up with email, we collect the following information:

• Your email address: We use your email address to be able to log you in, for account verification and necessary communication, important updates, and service-related notifications.
• IP address: We collect your IP address at the time of sign-up for security purposes to ensure the protection of our services.

1.2 Personal Information We Collect From Third Parties

If you link, connect or login to WrestleRank with a third party service (Google), you direct the service to send us the following information:

• Your email address: We use your email address for account verification and necessary communication, important updates, and service-related notifications.

You can de-link WrestleRank from your Google account at any time through Google's settings.

We record the date you sign up to WrestleRank. When you make a vote on WrestleRank, we record the username, the type of vote (upvote or downvote), the wrestler voted on, and the day the vote is cast.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

• Account Verification: If you sign-up with the email form, your email address is used to verify your account and to be able to log in on WrestleRank.
• Communication: We may contact you via email for important updates, service-related notifications, and responses to your inquiries or requests. We we will never send spam, and you will always have the option to unsubscribe and/or delete your account.

3. Data Security

We are committed to protecting your personal information and use industry-standard security measures to safeguard it. While we take every reasonable precaution to protect your data, please be aware that no method of data transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Disclosure of Information

We do not share, sell, or trade your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or with your explicit consent.

5. Your Choices

You have the following options regarding your personal information:

• Data Removal: You can request the removal of your account and attached data (username, email, IP address at time of sign-up if you use the email sign-up form) from our systems at any time by contacting us.
• You can de-link WrestleRank from your Google account at any time through Google's settings. Note that this will not delete your email from our system. If you want that deleted, please contact us.

6. Third-Party Links

WrestleRank (mainly the Blog section) may contain links to third-party websites or services that have their privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these websites or services.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
